Welcome to the WWW cognitive science lab! Here you will find a number of investigations and experiments dedicated to explore cognition via the World Wide Web. Currently, there is an emphasis on investigations intended to highlight the process of impression formation in humans.
The Trait-Behavior Questionaire - Fragebogen zum Zusammenhang von Eigenschaften und Verhalten - is an instrument that explores our expectations concerning the behavior of persons, who are described by some traits. This investigation takes about 5-10 Minutes: English Version / Deutsche Version

The Impression Formation Innvestigation is intended to highlight the way impressions are formed in an interview. You will interview another person, and later you will be requested to give a description of this person. This investigation takes about 5-10 Minutes.

Knowledge Tracking is a method to analyze sequential symbolic data. You will come across this type of data whenever you collect thinking aloud protocols, analyze traces in human-computer interaction, investigate WWW surfing-behavior etc. This short animated tutorial describes knowledge tracking to you.
